MBC Youth Group
1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

The Youth Group meets on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. On Wednesday nights, we meet in front of the High School gym at 6:30P. We have praise music, game time (four way soccer or blind volleyball to name a few), devotion and prayer time and then usually more game time. We are also beginning to introduce drama to our worship time. Some of the extra activities we have participated in:
• Mark Matlock’s Student Conference
• Shepherd Ministries Summer Camp in Siloam Springs, Arkansas
• Mystery theater dinner
• Progressive dinner
• All-night bowling/lock-in
• Had a party to premiere our camp video and a swimming party
• Summer Camp in Tennessee
• Picture scavenger hunt
• Weekend campout at Sulphur, Oklahoma
• A variety of community projects such as neighborhood clean-up, preparing a house of an senior citizens to be painted, yard work for another senior citizen
• Attended the Circus at the new American Airline Center
• Made a movie at Wal-Mart (we always have time for a trip to Wal-Mart)
• Concert/Lock-in
• Saturday morning bible study for boys
Our Youth Leaders, love to have a good time but are also dedicated to praying for our teens and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
